I’m Ane McGrail.

I’m a strength coach who believes training should be simple, effective, and sustainable.

 

I grew up in the gym. Gymnastics, sport, moving my body every day.

Being strong was normal for me. I didn’t realise how uncommon that was until my mid-20s.

 

That’s when I noticed something clearly.

Most women weren’t training for strength.

They were chasing skinny.

Eating less. Doing more.

And no one was talking about what that costs long term. Muscle. Bone density. Confidence.

 

I was lucky. Strength felt natural to me.

But I know that’s not the case for most women.

 

That’s why I coach.

 

I help women build muscle, lift with intent, and feel strong in their bodies.

Not just now, but decades from now.

 

Strength training isn’t about aesthetics alone.

It’s about resilience. Independence. Trust in your body.

 

The shift toward educating women on strength and hypertrophy is overdue.

And it’s exactly what I’ve built my coaching around.

 

I coach online and in person from my home gym.
